Based on activation of Sms Plugins & App Push settings, notifications are sent across to buyers, sellers and internal staff working in a system. Therefore, this area is dedicated to manage notification templates before finally sending them across to sellers, buyers, affiliates, new users, admin and so forth. There is also a provision to send notifications in other languages configured.
1. Email Templates Management
This section details managing content of emails through various predefined templates. By default, Growcer provides a library of email template content before sending out to users. Each email template has a name, subject in plain text, and a body definition where you can toggle between plain text and HTML format. As an admin user, system templates can be customized along with performing certain sets of tasks such as enable or disable templates, make edits into pre existing ones, customize content and design. Let’s discuss each of these options one by one:
I. Activate
:
Create your own email templates to serve as custom Welcome Emails for products or Messages sent frequently with an option to Activate. Steps to follows:
- On the upper right corner, click on the three horizontal dots icon and select Activate and you will be prompted with the message Please Select At Least One Record.
- Follow the prompts, select templates you wish to manage content with easy checkboxes and again click on Activate.
- Only Activated emails will be sent to users, sellers, affiliates and so forth.
II. Deactivate
:
There may be circumstances when you want to disable the content of certain emails from being sent. For example, you might not want Subscription Free Package Reminder Email message to those who have already subscribed, select templates from the list and select option to Deactivate. This email won’t be sent again until activated again.
III. Settings
:
This option is catered to customize content of outgoing emails along with design customization. The available settings are available under the Email Template Setup:
- Language: Select language specific email template settings from the dropdown list. The number of languages displayed in the list depends upon languages enabled in a system.

Header Bg Color:Display default background color code of header. Change displayed color by following these steps:
- Click on the color code shown inside the column and it will open a Color Palette Generator.
- With the help of a slider located outside the generator, set a desired color by scrolling up or down until you choose the right one for display.
- Logo Ratio: By default it is set to 1:1, select the other available ratio from the dropdown.
- Logo: There is an option to upload a new logo in case an existing one requires an edit. Click on Upload Logo, select from the source folder and click on Open to upload.
Footer HTML: Admin can either create a new template content or edit an existing one. Add variables to personalize communications and include additional relevant information such as order details. There is also a reset button called Reset Editor Content To Default if no customization needs to be done.
IV. Status
:
As an admin, you can disable email from being sent by enabling or disabling the statues. When set to Green it shows Active status, whereas Gray shows Inactive status.
V. Edit
:
Make following content related edits into selected email templates:
- Language: By default, primary language is set. In case, template changes are made in other languages, select from the dropdown list.
- Name*: Make edits to system defined names given to each template.
- Subject*: Make edits to the subject line of a selected template.
- Body*: Make edits to the main content of a selected template.

Replacement Variables: Add/edit replacement variables such as {user_full_name} Name of the email receiver {website_name} Name of our website to add more personalisation.
Once edits are made, click on Save Changes to save changes made.
VI. Checkboxes
:
Whenever any status related changes are to be made in bulk, make multiple selections with the help of Checkboxes placed before each template listing. Select the checkboxes and then use the Active, Deactivate buttons provided in the top-right corner.
VII. Search Bar:
A search bar is located at the top of the listing for easy viewing and quick results. Following search option is available in case the list seems to long to navigate:
- Search by keyword.
- Once the search is complete, click on Clear Search to view the whole list again.
2. SMS/WhatsApp Templates Management
On this page, the list of sms templates already loaded in the system can be viewed. The columns of listings are self explanatory. View, edit templates content along with performing certain actions:
- Sr.No: Display hierarchy of sms templates list.
- Name: Display the subject line of a notification.
- SMS Template Type: Display type of template, sms and whatsapp.
- Status: Display current status of template.
The last column of the listing suggest you to perform the below action:
I. Manual Action Button
Click on the three horizontal dots, select Edit to make changes to following SMS Template Setup form fields:
- Language: By default it is set to the first preferred language. Selection of languages from the list will update the chosen template into the respective language.
- Name*: Make name edits to the subject line of a notification if required.
- Body*: Make changes, edit the body of the message.
Replacement variables of sms templates will appear below every sms template content body. When you set up a message template with variables and use the message templates to send alerts or reply, the data entered will automatically be saved from the details of the recipient corresponding to the variable set such as full name, website name etc.
Note: Replacement variables or placeholders text in message templates vary as per users, time, type. The system will fetch real time data when generated.
You are supposed to use variables provided in the system. Some of the examples of placeholders that can be used are {user_full_name} {website_name} {contact_us_email} {posted_on_datetime}. Once finalized, click on Save Changes.
II. Manage Status
Make status related updates with the help of toggle switch. Status marked Active or Inactive will Activate and Deactivate email from being sent. When set to Green it shows Active status, whereas Gray shows Inactive status.
III. Search
SMS templates page display templates for multiple users. Therefore, a search bar is kept at the top of the page to scrutinize a list. Following search filters are available:
- Keyword: List containing keyword entered will be shown .
- Type: Mention type such as sms or whatsapp and list will hide listings that you don’t want to see. Once search results are obtained, click on Clear Search to view the whole list again. If no notifications are found, the page shows amessage No Records Found for selected criteria.
3. App Push Notifications
On this page, the list of App Notifications templates can be viewed. The columns of listings are self explanatory. View, edit the templates along with performing certain actions:
- Sr.No: Display the hierarchy of app push notifications list.
- Name: Display systems’ designated name to template.
- Notification Type: Display type of template, Delivery App and Buyer App.
The last column of the listing suggest you to perform the below action:
I. Action Buttons
Click on the three horizontal dots, select Edit to make edits into the following App Notification Setup form fields:
- Language: By default it is set to the first preferred language. Selection of languages from the list will update the chosen template into the respective language.
- Name*: Make edits to the given template name.
