Dashboard

The dashboard consists of several analytic sections which help the admin to visualize the performance of their website over the time. The various sections of the dashboard are explained below.

  • Total Sales: This section displays the website’s total sales over a certain time duration. The x-axis displays of the graph depicts the time duration and the y-axis depicts the sales revenue earned over that period. The admin can switch the time durations by clicking on the options provided above the graphs. The time periods available are Today (current date), Week (current week), This Month, Last Month and Year. To view the details, the admin can click on the ‘View Report’ button which will redirect them to the ‘Sales Report’ page. 
  • Total Orders: This section displays the total number of orders placed over a certain time duration. The x-axis of the graph depicts the time duration and the y-axis depicts the number of orders placed over that time period. The admin can switch the time durations by clicking on the options provided above the graphs. The time periods available are Today (current date), Week (current week), This Month, Last Month and Year. To view the details, the admin can click on the ‘View Report’ button which will redirect them to the ‘Sales Report’ page. 
  • Total Profit: This section displays the total profits earned over a certain time duration. The x-axis of the graph depicts the time duration and the y-axis depicts the profits earned over that time period. The admin can switch the time durations by clicking on the options provided above the graphs. The time periods available are Today (current date), Week (current week), This Month, Last Month and Year. To view the details, the admin can click on the ‘View Report’ button which will redirect them to the ‘Profit Report’ page. 
  • Recent Customers: This section displays the list of customers who have registered on the website most recently. To view the details, the admin can click on the ‘View Customers’ button which will redirect them to the ‘Users’ page. 
  • Recent Orders: This section displays the list of most recently placed orders. To view the details, the admin can click on the ‘View Orders’ button which will redirect them to the ‘Orders’ page. The admin can also view details of a particular order by clicking on its id mentioned under the Order ID column which will redirect them to the respective Order’s detail page. 
  • Inventory: This section displays the names of those products whose stock quantity is below the mentioned alert quantity. Clicking on ‘View All’ will redirect the admin to the Stock Quantity Alert tab. 
  • Return Requests: This section displays the list of most recently placed return order requests. To view the details, the admin can click on the ‘View Orders’ button which will redirect them to the ‘Orders’ page. The admin can also view details of a particular order by clicking on its id mentioned under the Order ID column which will redirect them to the respective Order’s detail page. 
  • Cancellation Requests: This section displays the list of most recently placed order cancellation requests. To view the details, the admin can click on the ‘View Orders’ button which will redirect them to the ‘Orders’ page. The admin can also view details of a particular order by clicking on its id mentioned under the Order ID column which will redirect them to the respective Order’s detail page.Fig. 4.1: Dashboard
